Blackened Salmon Steaks
Blackened Salmon Steaks
I made this fish by accident. I didn't intent to "burn" my fish but I found it juicier this way. I served with my High Tower Sauce. Thought to share it with you for the holidays. Ingredients: 2 Salmon Steaks 2 tbsp Low Sodium Miso Paste 1 tsp Vinegar Direction: - Rinse fish and pat dry with towel - Heat oven to 375 degrees - Marinate all ingredients for 30 minutes - Sear fish over high heat until blackend, about 3 minutes each side - Place steaks in oven - Check fish in 15 minutes, if flakes with fork, it's done - Remove and ready to serve them hot

Looks delish! I have a question about Thai Basil - how does it differ from sweet basil, which has an anise flavor? Can you describe it?
Maybe I'll grow some from seed this year, since I've never seen it otherwise. Lee |
