Spicy Butter Prawns
5cm piece ginger,peeled and chopped
2 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped 2 green chillies, deseeded 1 tbsp olive oil 50g butter 1/2 tsp turmeric 1 medium onion, peeled and thinly sliced 300g, mixed, peppers, seeded and sliced 1tsp tomato paste 400g fresh prawns 1/2 tsp garam masala freshly chopped coriander Mix together the ginger,garlic, and chilli to make a paste Heat the oil in a wok, then add 25g of the butter, and the chilli paste, fry for 30 seconds Add the turmeric and onion and peppers, fry for 3-2 minutes Add the tomato paste and the rest of the butter, mix Add the prawns and stir until warm, do not cook long Sprinkle with the coriander

Looks good, I've added it to my recipes and will probaby give it a try when I get back from vacation. Lately the shrimp haven't looked so good in the store, but I got lucky yesterday. Thanks

I love the sound of this one, wok cooking is how I get down, I love grilling and baking too but the wok is precious to me.
I'm assuming you use raw shucked prawns? How long do you cook them?
