Medical News - Diabetes

Info only, FYI. I have cleaned up my pantry and fridge of anything with HFCS.

Why oh why are our grocery stores full of food that is killing us?

It's a "supply and demand" thing, Zereh. If there were no demand for each item, no store would stock it.

The day you're born, you start the journey to death. No one avoids it, no one is immune from it. Everyone does it at least once.

The trick is to make your life last as long as possible and enjoy as much of it as you can.

Death is inevitable. Nothing to stress over.

Oh please. There's a huge difference between accepting that life will end (duh) and then having food shoved down our throats which knowingly makes us ill.

The government needs to protect consumers just as vigilantly as it does the profit makers.

HFCS are here to stay, all we need to do is be educated about our decisions on food buying and act accordingly. My purpose was to educate, not elicit debate on our government

When you go to the grocery, use your knowledge to better your diet and if needed and people will listen, pass on that education. Enough people stop buying items loaded with HFCS, maybe we can promote change, but I doubt it in my lifetime..
