Calamondin is a very small (no bigger than a golf ball) sour/tart variety of orange. Popular as a tub houseplant in temperate-climate areas.

Heat and a blender, followed by bratwurst or kielbasa, or chicken. After all, what good is a great sauce recipe if you don't have it prepared, or have nothing to put it on.?

Not attempting to be creative, I think the following is roughly your basic Texas-style barbecue sauce...

1/2 cup cider vinegar (Andy)
1/2 cup ketchup (Amanda)
1 lemon juice and zest (Webster)
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce (getoutamy)
1/2 - 1 tsp hot sauce (Amanda)
1 diced onion (Mimi)
2 diced garlic cloves (Kayelle)
1/2 tsp chipolte, or chili, powder (Mimi)

Combine and simmer for at least 15 minutes.

Season to taste, maybe 1 Tbs salt, and
1/2 tsp coarse black pepper (getoutamy)

Buzz, or not, with immersion blender (goodweed).

Good with chicken or beef ribs.
