Appetizer variation. Jezebel Sauce.
I forgot about a pitch-in at work today. I stopped at the local store with a nice deli to see if they had anything I would not be embarrassed to serve, they didn't..
I figured...OK, Jezebel sauce on Cream cheese with crackers. Easy to make(even in the office), tastes great. They didn't have the preserves or jelly I wanted. I ended up with Apple jelly(standard) and black current jelly. I mixed that with powdered mustard(Colemans), horseradish, black pepper and a little salt and poured it over the cream cheese. Fantastic!! Much better than the apricot or pineapple I usually use. I think next time I will try Raspberry... |

That sounds like a pretty unique combination.. I'll have to give it a try sometime!
