Australian Sargents Pies

Is there anybody who may have worked for the Sydney, Australia, Pie making company,Sargents Pies, in the late 1950,s, who remembers the recipe and ingredients used to make the original Sargents pie as sold in Sargents Pantry's and also Farmers Department Store cafetaria and also Randwick Racecourse among other outlets. I used to eat Sargents Pies 6 at a time but unfortunately the pies of today are not a patch on what they used to make! I would love to try and make my own copy of the old Sargents pie. Another good pie I remember was Robinsons Bakery of West Wallsend NSW in the early 1950's. - Colin McLeod -colinrmcleod@yahoo.com.au
