I am a (male) college student who is doing a sale pitch for a persuasion class. I am an avid cook, taking most of my experience from Italian cooking, but I can cook/bake about anything. I need help finding a great recipe book that has good meals that can be prepared in about 30 minutes (a sales point in my speech).

I'm hoping to get some perspective from anyone out there that cooks for a family and prefers to get the cooking done ASAP. If the cookbook looks at economy, that would be great, too.

I looked at the Rachael Ray's cookbooks (my brothers favorite Food Network star) for her 30-minute meal books. Most of them were found lacking due to bad organization, no index, and taking much longer than 30 minutes of prep time. So, if you know of a good quick-meal recipe book that doesn't have those deficiencies, please let me know.

Here are some good ones I've found so far... any opinions?

Might want to take a look at Pam Anderson's 'How to Cook Without a Book".

Apparently is still in print and Amazon carries it.
