Barley wine benders are messy messy occasions!

Actually, barley wines are VERY storng beers, that have alcohol contents rivaling that of wines (hence the name). The are big and strong enough to withstand agin for years on end, and just like a wine, will change with age.

This is one of my favorites, although the one I made was stronger (but not as tasty) http://www.sierranevada.com/beers/bigfoot.html
