The only problems I encounter when cooking, is the unrelenting pressure to get food out to our customers. I'm in catering, and working in a hot kitchen and I mean hot, is no easy task.
One difficult task that I do know is making meringues. The bowl one whisks the egg whites in has to be squeaky clean, devoid of any fat deposits. Or the egg whites will never foam up. Another is trying not to burn oneself on hot ovens. Or if a sauce splits, and then one has to think on one's feet especially when working alone and under huge pressure. But I love it. :D
