We use mustard oil in almost every dishes. We also use hot mustard oil for massaging. We prepare 'kajal' (kohl) from mustard oil. A wick is made out of a thin white and clean cloth, which is used to light a lamp filled with mustard oil and a brass vessel is kept over the lamp. The soot produced by this process is used as kajol. You can visit this link mustard oil

We also use peanut oil or sunflower oil for frying puris and parathas.
