I'm having a small dinner party and would like to serve verrines but need help! Thanks!!

Do you mean Terrine? I have never heard of "verrines" and have no idea what you're referring to.

shoooooooooooot. It looks like you could put anything in a little glass and call it a "verrine." Verre is the french word for glass, and all I saw was a whole bunch of items layered in glasses. could be an individual trifle, or could be a parfait, or anything else one would like to serve that way.
Doesn't look to me like a very complicated thing to make.

Thanks guys I appreciate it! I actually found a good site when i went to google. It had some good fruit and cheese verrine ideas. If anyones interested or likes cheese the site is Secrets of Verrines: Vary your Verrines with Simple Spring Ideas.
At first, I thought you folks were talking about something similar to a parfait, but after looking it up on Wikipedia, I can see you're not.
