Two lightweight bowls as shown I don't have, lol...check. I suppose from there you smash each clove down with the side of a knife or use a garlic press. Check.

The main reason I stopped watching Martin is because I feel like I am watching Adult Sesame Street. He counts over and over every movement. Dead air is not always a bad thing.
