Easiest Way to Peel Garlic

Garlic can be annoying to peel, but apparently there's a way to just shake off the peels. Was watching the show Hack My Life the other night and saw about "two bowls" - it's a little goofy but hey, it's a helpful tip!

BAHAHA! I love it, that's a historical video.
... and I DO that too! only thing is I find is that it doesn't work so great with just a couple of cloves.

I saw Rachael Ray do that on TV about 10 years ago. It would have been much more entertaining watching Giada De Laurentiis do it.

I've been peeling garlic this way for years...except I use a small metal Ovaltine shaker. Works great on one clove or a handful.

I've never had it fail on any variety of garlic. Go for it.

If this works, it looks easy except you have two bowls to wash instead of one knife.
I'm trying it asap to see if it really works.

For a few, a knife works just fine. On the other hand, I've used it for the 40 cloves of garlic chicken recipe.
