Now showing on the Green Network (which we just got out of nowhere) is Chef Emeril being calm and really helpful to people with specific food issues. Made in conjunction with Whole Foods Markets. It's quite refreshing seeing him be a real chef. 8pm repeated at midnight edt.

Yep - saw it the other night. Interesting ... I wondered how he would re-invent himself after he sold out to Martha Stewart (several articles about it). Here is Planet Green's hype about him joining them.

I get this channel, and it seems to me that Emeril is totally lost and just going through the motions. For me, this one is forgettable.

Didn't like it at all. Emeril is so out of his element. It's part Take Home Chef, Part Cooking 911, and part something that is uncomfortable. It's not something that Emeril is suited to.

I just caught it last night. I prefer a little "Bam" in my Emeril.
If I want a recipe I'll open a book. I tune into cooking shows for both ideas and entertainment.
That said, I'll probably watch it again if nothing else is on
