Expensive Grocery items

In response to expensive grocery items, I agree with those listed above. Meat, fish, and produce eat up my budget more quickly than anything else. Drinks kill me too. My daughter and I drink mostly water with some milk. DH on the other hand gets soda, juice, fruit drinks, etc. I won't buy them regularly. They're a treat, not a necessity. DH keeps buying individual servings at work because we never have it at home. Buying a bottle of juice and sending some to work with him every couple days in a thermos would certainly be cheaper, but if we have it in the fridge, he won't drink any water and the juice will be gone in less than 48 hours, so it ends up being as expensive and he drinks a lot more of it. It's so frustrating!
 
now lobster tails are out of sight price wise. even when they have them. bought two yesterday. very small ones. ten dollars. that is expensive for me for an entrée. but i love em, so pay the price once in awhile.
