I do not use whole wheat or oat flour often so I store it in the freezer and have never had any problems

I don't use cake flour very often alot less then the others, I have to buy in a big box, My question is has anyone froze cake flour and problems or does anyone thnk there would be a problem freezing it.

thank you all

No problems with freezing any kind of flour. It's often recommended to freeze flour for 3-4 days to kill and insect larvae that may be present. It's important to freeze whole grain flours as they can go rancid.

works great - I also store my cornmeal and oatmeal in the freezer.
It does't freeze solid so you can scoop out as much as you want.

I always let the flour that I will be using to come to room temperture

I freeze my flour and other grains such as maizemeal, sorghum and even cereals to keep weavils out. It doesn't freeze solid so before using it just let it come to room temperature as letscook mentioned. You can even keep your grains and flour in the freezer.
