Freezing sauces

Hi all... well here I am in what I should imagine is a female domain but I am sure somebody will help me.
My question is... can I freeze a Cream and Mushroom sauce safely. The ingrediants are... fine chopped mushrooms... fine chopped small onion... a drop of white wine... Olive oil... and double cream.
The reason I ask is that I could make a large amount and then divide it up and freeze for a later date
Help appreciated..... Frederick

hi and welcome! anyway, yes, it should freeze well. just be careful when reheating so as not to scald/burn/curdle the cream in it.

Yes, Frederick, it should freeze just fine as long as you store it in a freezer-safe container. And, as the others have said, go gentle with the reheating.
