Has anyone ever seen a recipe that just seems so good. You get all the ingredients and start cooking away. Only to find out, that 1/2 through it, it wasnt worth the effort. A few months ago, I found a recipe for a fat free gumbo-like recipe. I think my first mistake was the "fat free', but my wife was on a diet so i figured id give it a try. Anyway, the more ingredients i put in, the more i realized i was wasting my time, and food. Im the type of cook, who everyone thinks is great. What they dont realize, is that anything i make that doesnt pass my inspection, winds up being fed to the chickens. Anyway, this gumbo, 1/2 way done, wound up as chicken feed.
