I woudl say you can eat american anything in any country lol just shop around the local markets. Find a butcher, fish market, a farm, or some small marketplace where they sell vegetables. As long as you have water, cooking oil, and 1 deep cooking pan youll be fine. I've lived in china during the summer in 3rd world areas and i've cooked using a fire and made bread.

I've vacationed in The Czech Republic. You really have to look, but you can certainly find the basics. Which country are you in?

I would see cooking creatively with available ingredients as a challenge.
