I have been craving Vlasic hamburger dill pickle chips. Don't ask me why, just have. Not pregnant, honest. However, I actually took time to read the label today and found out they contain high fructose corn syrup!! Dill pickles!!! Right after the cucumbers, water, vinegar, etc. Good ole HFCS. Why??? This just seems so wrong on so many levels!! Thanks for letting me rant.

Don't ya just HATE that ! We were trying to find bloody mary mix without it - good freakin' luck! I don't understand why they have to put it in everything! Clamato juice???

Not to change the subject but it's still about pickles - am I like the last person on the planet to eat Wickles? Dang they are good!

Cheap Filler. That's why they "have" to use it. :-p:mad:

That's right. Plain and simple.

It's much cheaper than sugar.

Until Americans are willing to pay a higher price for non HFCS products, companies will keep using HFCS. That day may be coming.
