Hi, I'm new to this place and to cooking.
i was trying to make Dango ( dumplings on a stick) and didn't have rice flower so i thought id substitute standard flower . it didn't work, so now i have a dough like batter in a bowl and don't know what to make with it.
i used
1 1/4 cup flower and 3/4 cup water to make the dough
i cut 1/3 off and followed the recipe to see if it would work, it didn't.
Is there any thing i can make with what i have?
any help would be appreciated. as i am just learning other things. i only know how to make eggs and spaghetti.
Thank you
ps sorry for the double post

Hmmm....do you have any yeast? You could possibly add 3/4 cup of flour, and a 1/4 cup of warm water (with a tablespoon of yeast dissolved in it) and a teaspoon of salt and make bread. Just thoroughly mix it in, knead for about five minutes, then place the dough ball in a greased bowl and cover with a towel for about an hour. Then punch out the dough, knead it for another minute or two, and form a couple of long loaves, and place on a greased cookie sheet. Let it rise for another hour, then bake at 400f for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.

Here's what my first attempt looked like: (don't laugh at the shape! :) )

You can toss about a 1/2 cup of water in the bottom of the oven to create steam for a crunchier crust.

or instead of loaves, you can form bread bowls:
