I am sure this has been talked about before in one regard or another, but I am completely broke and am trying to maintain a healthy diet on an even healthier budget. I plan to start eating oatmeal for breakfast and more rice-oriented meals for dinner, but what I wanted to know was if you guys knew some things that are super cheap to buy (like pasta, rice, etc.) in large amounts that will last me a long time, but still taste wonderful with a few minor alterations (sauces, spices, beverages).

Thanks!
