ISO help cooking top sirloin roast

Sent Hubby for prime rib come back with Top sirloin roast about 2.4 lb Help how do i roast

Need more info, how much fat cap, is it a flat roast or more like a round roast or tri-tip? Generally we salt and pepper generously, blast at 500 F for 5 minutes then lower to 200 F for 1 hour per pound.

thanks its kinda round with nice fat one one side i am searing it on each side now then will follow you 1hour lb thx

Pan searing should work. Remember to make a pan sauce/gravy from the drippings.
