ISO - Help Making a mild wing sauce
There is a mighty fine mild wing sauce that is sold by the gallon, $20 per. I have the list of ingredients, first and foremost among them tomato concentrate from red vine-ripened tomatoes. Other ingredients include brown sugar, water, corn syrup, onion powder, turmeric, and some other spices.
Couple questions: Do stores sell tomato concentrate? I've googled that it is just tomato paste. Is this correct?
Second, how would you go about trying to duplicate the recipe? I'm guessing I'd pretty much just heat it and let it simmer for a bit and then let it cool and sit for some time.
