I need to figure out a starch and a vegetable that would go good with cilantro and lime...if anyone has any ideas...thanks

pasta, vegetables, cilontro, lime...sounds like a job for pad thai!

Cilantro & Lime are usually TexMex seasonings. Beans (pinto or black), Greens, Rice and Corn (or cornbread dressing).

Quinoa goes great with both.

I make a Tex Mex grilled chicken salad, with Cilantro Lime cream salad dressing. I believe I posted it in either the chickens or the salads forums here last summer. Anyway, its a layered salad comprised of mixed baby greens, fresh corn, black beans, red onions, tomatos, grilled chicken, avocado tossed in a lime/cilantro salad dressing I make with buttermilk and some dried herbs.
