Hi everyone!

I'm wondering if sweet pepper powder is sold in the US?

Thanks!

Thanks!

Thanks so much Taxlady and Justplainbill:)

That clears it up:)

Or you could try My Spice Sage who sell an American red bell pepper powder (as opposed to Hungarian or Spanish smoked paprika). The Kid tried this once and it is nice and sweet and probably the closest to what you are looking for, but it is not the bright red of the various brands of paprika, so it might not do if you are using it on, say, roast potatoes. Some on-line retailers, like Penzeys and The Spice House sell some very hot paprikas, though, so make sure that you get a sweet version. If you just want to get some from your local store, McCormick's is quite sweet, but check the color. it only lasts about six months in my kitchen and darkens as it gets older.
Cheers
