Not an Italian dog, but a good one.

My supermarket had some Shickhaus foot long dogs for sale over the weekend. I grilled up one of those with ketchup, mustard, sliced pickle, diced onion and hot sauce. Barbeque shrimp on a skewer.

.....yes, that's a dinner plate. LOL

I sometimes make them with sausage instead of a Hot Dog.

Also, I was thinking woulden't the hot dog buns that went around here recently be great? They could be poppy seed.
