copy & paste to a _notepad_ file - that saves as .txt

open the .txt file with Excel
follow the prompts for "delimited"
uncheck all the boxes, check "other" and insert the hypen

should look like:

hmm, Manage attachments refuses to manage; have a screen shot but no shoot..... my magic wand may not be big enough, maybe it needs new batteries?

anyway - specifying the hyphen as the delimiting character will split it into "dish" and SPICE

I could do that, but like I said, I've already got a list by spices. Thanks anyway, perhaps someone else can use your trick.

I like tarragon in home made tartar sauce....

Thanks! I'll have to try that! I like to make my own remoulade and tartar sauce, but I don't think I've used tarragon!

Tarragon is also great in tuna salad, egg salad, or chicken salad.
