Opening canned food

When you want to open a can of baked beans, or something similar in a sauce, turn it upside down & undue the bottom end, as the heavier food settles at the bottom of the can & the sauce at the top. Now the food will slide out without having to bang the bottom of the can. If the can, can only be opened one end or has a ring pull on it, then store can upside down till required.

Opening Cans

Additionally, if you happen to be opening Tomato Paste, open both ends and push the paste through. The lid willl almost scrape the inside of the can clean, the paste is easily measureable, The psate shouldn't remain in the can if unused AND you can get really wild building some height on plates with your "Tall Cylinder."
