Pasta in Mushroom Soup

was wondering if homemade egg noodles cooked in cream of mushroom soup(from a can) would work ok. also should i boil the noodles first then into the soup or just cook the noodles in the soup?

I would cook the pasta first, I don't think there is enough free liquid in the soup to make the noodles soft enough.

ok, thanks.
i utubed my question, then smacked my forehead. add beef, sour cream and it's beef stroganoff.
i was going for a one pot meal cause i only have one burner, but i can swing it just fine. try'n to make something somewhat homemade cause the only other night for a homemade meal is thursday. tired of the kids being so busy, but that is the way it is anymore with sports, school, church.
