I have a 16 inch pizza crisper with a non-stick surface and am having a little trouble cleaning some of the baked on sauce which turns black. The big spots come off easy but some of them leave behind the black spots.Does anyone know any tricks to get this stuff off?

Maybe back in a hot oven or just leave as is, cook another pizza and just clean off sooner(while hot)?

Or, order more elbow grease.;):D

I wouldn't worry about it. I think I'd even be proud of it. Like battle scars. Or, a well-seasoned crisper. I understand your q that it's non-stick and seems like it shouldn't be there, but I think it's natural and I do not recommend trying to vaporize it with an oven's high-heat self-cleaning cycle. Elbow grease works, but it also erodes its non-stick surface. If it doesn't affect your next pizza...
