Goodweed, that is kinda scary but cool!!!!! There is a Hard Wok Cafe in the town next to me. It is more of the general Chinese take-out/eat-in place with a fairly large menu.

Goodweed mentioned something worth expounding on. If a building/location has contained several business all of which have failed that is not the place for you. It never ceases to amaze me how one certain location can't make it no matter WHAT they are.

This town is growing faster than the business buildings have kept up with - there are a couple of 'strip centers' going in on major access to moderate to high dollar subdivisions...so nothing has had time to fail yet!
As to names - since we're in a military rich environment, hubby and son want to name it Deb's MRE's [??meals ready to eat???]....not sure I can go with that!!!
I appreciate the link to SOURCE, have book marked it, as well as SBA and VA loan information related to disabled vets.
Thanks all for your input, I'm stashing away all this info for perusal. I found a community college that teaches the food management/certification courses and have heard that it's a good place to get started - our little town has very strict codes for building and business so I"ll make sure I know that up front!
