Rillette is too salty... Help

My wife and I followed the recipe to the "T". The rillette is extremely salty (not always a bad thing but is in this case). Does anyone know a way to cut the salty taste (maybe by adding unsalted pork to the overly salted pork)?

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

This may not be so bad. Make some more with little or no salt and combine with the over-salted stuff. It takes some extra work but then you'll have a lot more rillette.
