RIP Paul Prudhomme

This saddens me. I learned a lot from him and enjoy his recipes.

I saw that. Sad, 75 is too soon. His spice blends were some of the first I used.

His recipes were my first intro to LA cuisine. Given his former weight and resultant health problems, we were very, very lucky to have him as long as we did. RIP Paul, thoughts to your family in their time of grief.

My heart was 'blackened' when I heard this. Through tourism, He brought billions of dollars to the South Louisiana economy..and beyond. A gentle soul. ~ RIP Paul.

RIP Paul Prudhomme

I remember when DH and I were in New Orleans a few milleniums ago, we walked past Paul Prudhomme's restaurant. Seating was at picnic-style tables, and everyone was squished in to wherever they'd fit. We skipped it, as it was packed.
