Question Roasted garlic mashed potatoes

Hi There!
I need to fix a lot of potatoes for a dinner tomorrow and was thinking I'd make Roasted Garlic Mashed Potoatoes..... Does anyone have a yummy recipie for these?

If you check out the Search function on the blue taskbar, you can go into Advanced Search and set it to look for Titles with your keywords in it. Works wonders! Good luck.

It's pretty basic - just roast some garlic and add to your regular mashed potatoes. You can also add a bit of goat cheese for a nice flavor and even an egg yolk and ricotta for some richness.

Hi Mary,
instead of roasting mine I put them into several cups of cream, bring it to a boil then simmer til the garlic are soft enough to mash with a fork. I then just add them to the potatoes along with some of the cream, and lots of butter til I get the consistency I like. Since I'm usually cooking for from 8-12 I use about 20 cloves of garlic,1-2 cups heavy cream and 1 large potato per person.
Hope this gives you some ideas for your meal.
