Searing heat for bluefish

How high should the heat be for searing bluefish fillets?
It's the first time I cook bluefish today, I'm not marinating it, just wanted to test the fish since I've never even had it. I expect a strong flavor as I was told...
Still trying to teach myself how to cook and I've been marinating/searing chicken for lunch for so long I decided to try something a bit different.

I wouldn't go too high. You don't want to cook it like a rare steak. Medium high temp sear one side then flip, turn down the heat and cook 'til done.
