Side dish suggestions for lamb roast...

A friend is cooking a lamb roast for quite a few people and i would like to bring a dish but have no idea what to make, can anyone give me some suggestions?

In what style is the roast being cooked? Greek, Italian etc.

How about bringing some homemade chutney? A mango or cranberry chutney is fabulous with lamb and can be done ahead.
 
I am probably too late here but I like to have a bean dish with lamb. Lima, white kidney, romano, or fava. Usually in the Mediterranean style.

With lamb I prefer Asparagus and Glazed Carrots. Both. Otherwise carrots and -- Whole young green beans or Peas with minty lemon butter sauce. Roasted or mashed potatoes, if there is gravy.

DxW loves lamb. I don't know why we don't have lamb more often.
