In what style is the roast being cooked? Greek, Italian etc.

I'm having steamed asparagus with hollandaise and baby new potatoes.

Lamb is versatile. You can serve pretty much any side dish with lamb that you would serve alongside beef or pork.

How about bringing some homemade chutney? A mango or cranberry chutney is fabulous with lamb and can be done ahead.

I am probably too late here but I like to have a bean dish with lamb. Lima, white kidney, romano, or fava. Usually in the Mediterranean style.
