Hi all, i just got in from work and found that wifey has had savoury mince cooking in the slow cooker since 11:30 this morning.

Unfortunately she wasn't wearing her glasses and put the selector onto "warm" instead of Low. Will this be OK to put on low and cook overnight or will it be crawling with bacteria?

Thanks in advance

Nick

Oh dear. What's the temperature of your "warm" setting? 140°F and below is the danger zone, and may serve as an incubator for nasties. I'd throw it out if that's the case. However, some CP warm settings are actually closer to low setting temps, as many now cook/warm hotter than they used to.

Welcome to DC!
