Snip 13's South African recipe??

Snip 13
This is really for you. we visited our dutch friend last week whilst in Holland ( long story ) and she made us 'Bobitee' ? I'm sure I've spelt it wrong but I have read about it from you and never had it before. I hope you can recognise it because it was SO good and I found myself saying 'I know this, I know this! All because of you Snip. Please would you post YOUR recipe because I would love to make it myself, Thanks.

sounds like you were asking for bobotie ot bobotjie. was it made from mnced meat?

i think i remember snip posting about it before.

btw, there's an irish version, bob o'tie...

it was created by an irishman who invented portable lawn chairs after an african safari. his name is paddy o'furniture.

ok, i'll stop.

where's snip?

I was wondering the same thing but didn't feel like wading through all the posts in the MIA thread.

Panc, she didn't post anything in the Going MIA thread about doing that. I even put a note in her profile comments almost a week ago and haven't heard from her. Hope everything is OK...
