and.... if you have house flies, tie a few packets of water and hang it to the affected area. You will see the flies just fly to the packet and no buzzing around. hee....

Mythbusters just tested this one and found it to not work.

It works in Thailand. Maybe Thailand is too hot, house flies like cool place? =)

I just re-read your post and have to correct what I said. The myth that Mythbusters was testing was that the water repelled the flys. What you posted was more along the lines of attracting them to the water (keeping them from other areas) and this is closer to what the Mythbusters found to be the truth. Sorry I did not read your post closer the first time.

Here's another one.... in Singapore we used Pandan leave to repell cockroaches. Therefore if you ever sit in a Taxi in Singapore, you will see pandan leave in place everywhere in the taxi

When I have burned or stuck on foods I put a new dryer sheet in bottom and carefully cover sheet with water. Next day, clean as new.
