If your cats use your furniture for a scratching post (like mine) rub vicks vapor rub on the area you don't want them scratching. The smell of the vicks will keep the away.

Doesn't the Vicks make the material oily? I would think that the more liquid eucalyptus inhaler wood do the same thing, without putting a petroleum jelly base into your upholstery. I could be wrong with this though. It's a supposition.

I wish I could buy hydrogen peroxide and white vinegar in a 55-gal. drum. I use hydrogen peroxide instead of bleach with my whites, to clean my counters, and vinegar is my go-to friend for cleaning windows.

Well, I buy hydrogen peroxide and vinegar by the case.

I transported a dog with a severed artery to the vet clinic--hydrogen peroxide and plain white shaving cream got all the blood out of my car--albeit, it took about 5 hours. My mother always used it to get blood out off fabric. And, I've always used it to clean the drains in the kitchen sink (combined with baking soda).

Sadly, any idiot with a computer and an internet connection can create a website and start posting gibberish.

As the young woman says in the Allstate commercial. "They can't put it on the internet if it isn't true." People actually believe this.

Yup, GG, you're right, hydrogen peroxide isn't water and oxygen. But, it does break down to water and oxygen. That opening statement was enough for me not to read the rest of the article.
