One great tip I want to submit is : Always pre-read a recipe before you start cooking! I've made a lot of mistakes by thinking "okay I know what to do next" But then the recipe tells me 5 steps later something completely different haha

Yes. I find that familiarising myself with how the recipe works/develops beforehand makes for a smoother transaction.

I learned this the hard way many years ago.

And then you reach a point in your mental age when you have to re-read the entire recipe after you do each step just to make sure you are doing it right.

Medication hint: I am on a couple of prescriptions meds, each taken just once a day. One in the morning, two at night. I've gotten into the habit of turning the bottle upside-down after I take the pill for AM or PM. At the same time I then flip the next bottle(s) right-side up. This way if I'm not sure if I took that days pill I can verify just by looking at which way the bottle is placed. Each time I take one dose I then do the bottle-flippy-thing again.

How can you be sure you haven't forgotten to flip a bottle?

I take over a dozen Rx and OTC meds every day. My aunt, who was diagnosed with diabetes at age 6, also took lots of meds. She gave me a weekly organizer box to keep track of them all.

I take 19 pills a day between AM and PM. I set alarms on my cell phone to remind me.

I know I'm gonna win this one I meant over a dozen individual Rx and OTC drugs. One I take seven pills a day, another six, several others two. Six before each meal, a bunch after lunch and three in the evening. Plus a weekly injection. I think I spend 10% of my time dealing with Rx and OTC drugs.

I have 9 RX and 15 OTC. When my organizers are full they weigh a pound.
