Hi all,

I really love cheese and feel like it improves the taste of many dishes, but I hear that too much cheese isn't good for the digestive system. Does it slow it down? Is this true for all cheeses? Or just the ones that are processed? :ermm:

I thought that cheese is a good type of fungus?

Cheese isn't a fungus. It's a concentrated milk fat, and too much of anything, particularly a fat, isn't necessarily a good thing, even if it is tasty.

Processed cheese food (fake cheese) is a vegetable oil product, and in my opinion, not as healthy as real cheese.

I see. So what cheese tastes good and is healthy too? Something like Greek or French feta? I'm not really a fan of cheese that is too sour or salty.
