Utensils/Kitchen Tools in Mexico

My wife who is down in Harlingen, Texas, visiting her grandmother for a couple of days is going shopping in Mexico Sunday.

Anyone who has been down there, can they post anything worth buying when the read this before about 8 AM, eastern time, so I can tell her to pick it up???

Mexican Vanilla!

I was down that way about 8 years ago. I have family in the little town just north of Harlingen. I crossed in the town of La Feria (sp?). I bought two 970 mL bottles of Mexican vanilla for $1.25/each. One of those bottle broke when I finally got home, as a relative dropped it. I finally ran out of my other bottle about a month ago.
