Vanilla Essence Question

Hi!

Sorry if this is the wrong section.

I have some vanilla essence and there is a best before date on the lid but no time frame written anywhere on the bottle saying..'use so many days or weeks after opening'. I can only presume that once opened that it should be good to use until the best before date.

Would people here think that too. I've had it a couple of months.

Thanks!

Hi. If by essence you mean extract, it will last indefinitely. It's an infusion in alcohol, which is a preservative. It will never go bad.
