Vegan haggis

Proof that you never know what sorts of foods are out there...I somehow stumbled upon vegan haggis (isn't that an oxymoron? )

http://store.foodfightgrocery.com/veganhaggis.html

What would the Scots say?

Madonnaaaaa!! Have you tried it? Even though it doesn't seem particularly appetizing, I wouldn't hesitate a second to go with this one instead of the real Haggis!!

Looks like it goes in the same direction as 'cowboy cavier', and all those make believe things! I even found a vegan soy-based product they were marketing as 'vegan fish' - was even in the shape of a fish, and was pink like salmon!

Vegetarian haggis is quite popular, although my butcher makes 'real' haggis.

MacSween's make the best vegetarian haggis in Scotland.

Years ago I tried the real thing, not to my fancy...but I agree with you, I'd try this one too (just saw it online not in the shops).
