Venison loin steaks?

Hi doing this on saturday night

Venison steaks with redcurrant sauce: Recipes: Good Food Channel

Do you cooking venison 3-4 minutes either side will be enough

Should be fine if meat is not icy cold, about 3/4" thick and done at high heat. Thinner cuts could take less time.
