Want to make yogurt

I want to make strawberry, vanilla ore blueberry yogurt like I buy in the store.

How much sugar should I add to 4 cups of milk?

Do I add blueberry or strawberry before I set it to ferment or after?

How much vanilla extract do I need to 4 cups of milk?

Thanks :D

You don't want to add anything to the milk/starter prior to fermentation. First you make plain yogurt then add sweeteners and fruit afterwards. I have found that adding the fruit/sweeteners right before you eat the yogurt is best. Otherwise your yogurt ends up runny, like a smoothie. I used to make up a couple of different fruit mixtures to add to the yogurt and store them separately. I usually just combine frozen fruit and sugar. Good luck!
