What I've learned from DC, hmmmm.
I've picked up many excellent recipes along the way, appreciate that it is not only a cooking forum, but a place to exchange jokes/laughs, or pose just about any question, and people will try to help each other out with a solution. Regardless of age, gender, geographical location, preferred cuisine, or cooking method, there is always something new to learn from one another - be it life or cooking. The comraderie/friendship among members make it a friendly/homey/wholesome place to visit. No matter what one's favorite foods are, what part of the world one lives in, whether one cooks or not, or what someone does for a living, this is a great place to open one's mind to new ideas and share common interests - food and people. There's something here for everyone & always something new to learn.
